Meet Misty
Owner & Creative Director
Before starting LBE, Misty worked as a Special Events Coordinator in Rancho Santa Fe, and a Marketing Director for a non-profit, coordinating their corporate events.
Since 2000, Misty has been designing and organizing weddings and other events including baby showers, birthday parties, corporate retreats and fundraisers. Every event is unique and that's why she loves what she does.
With a background in marketing and branding, she recently branded a local business including their logo design and, of course, coordinated their launch party.
"I love strong coffee, traveling, home renovation and going to the movies. I named my business Little Bird Events because Hummingbirds have a special meaning to me. I've been a SAG-AFTRA member for 14 years and have worked on many movies and T.V. shows. One of the best decisions I've ever made was becoming a foster mom to two beautiful children (see LBE's Giving Back page!). I'm also writing my memoir and trying to keep up with my very energetic son and daughter (hence the strong coffee). I love a good party! Thank you for considering LBE for your next celebration."
